The Yellow Group caters for children aged 1½ to 3 years and our curriculum covers a wide range of activities from numbers to weather, animals etc. All activities reflect the 5 main areas of development (Language, Social-Emotional, Cognitive, Gross/Fine Motor and Physical) and we incorporate them into our daily activities.
Arts & Crafts
This includes crafts such as painting, colouring, gluing, play dough etc. All are really important for the creative development of children.
Language Skills
Language skills are encouraged and promoted on a daily basis in yellow group. Circle time encourages children to interact with each other through stories and singing songs.
Independent Skills
Although the children are quite young in the yellow group, we like to promote self-help skills from an early age. Children are accompanied with independent skills until they master them by themselves. Self-help skills such as feeding, putting on shoes and coats are some of the skills children learn.
